Governor Sindh lauds Baitussalam Welfare Trust for exemplary efforts

Karachi: The Closing Ceremony of the Baitussalam Olympiad 2024 was held with great enthusiasm and participation, featuring Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, Governor Tessori expressed his joy in speaking from the platform of such a prestigious organization. He praised Baitussalam Welfare Trust for its exemplary efforts, stating, “Baitussalam needs no introduction; its work speaks for itself. It is fulfilling the vision for which our forefathers fought for this country. I urge all philanthropists to contribute to this noble cause.” Justice Syed Muhammad Anwar of the Federal Sharia Court commended the commitment and sincerity of the Baitussalam team, highlighting their ability to achieve challenging goals ahead of time. “This is a movement, not just an organization. Their success is a result of their unwavering sincerity and dedication,” he remarked.

Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal, also addressed the audience, appreciating Baitussalam's humanitarian efforts. “Whether it is providing relief to oppressed and needy communities locally or internationally, Baitussalam always takes the lead with exemplary services. The tireless efforts of Maulana Abdul Sattar in education and training are commendable,” he stated.

Maulana Abdul Sattar, the head of Baitussalam Welfare Trust, expressed his gratitude to the guests and attendees. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the organization's dual identity rooted in Islam and Pakistan. “We take pride in our Islamic and Pakistani identity. Our challenges can be overcome if we adhere to the principles laid out by Islam. We aim to see our youth embody the values of Islam while excelling in modern skills,” he said, adding that their mission is driven by divine guidance and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The event also featured the distribution of trophies, shields, and prizes to students and teams who secured first and second positions in various competitions. Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, Federal Minister Jam Kamal, Provincial Minister for Local Government Murtaza Wahab, and internationally renowned cricket all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi participated in the prize distribution ceremony, encouraging and celebrating the achievements of the participants.
