Governor Sindh inaugurates first Digital Complaint Centre in DMC East

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori along with Administrator DMC East Syed Shakeel Ahmed and Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan inaugurated first Digital Complaint Centre under one window operation in DMC East. Governor and Administrator DMC initiated tree plantation drive by planting saplings outside main office.

Governor congratulated Administrator and stated that after taking charge of Administrator DMC East he is doing great job as East is moving towards betterment.

He said that measures should have to be taken for promotions of employees, upon which Administrator Syed Shakeel Ahmed assured that issues of employees will be resolved in 24 hours.  He said that we have taken initiatives that have not been done till now.

Governor shared that city needs our existence, along with our rights, we also have to ensure basic rights of every citizen.

Faheem Khan said that redressal of citizens’ complaints will be made possible through Digital Complaint Centre and officers will work for improvement of District. Officers of DMC East welcomed Governor and presented him bouquets.

MNA Abdul Qadir Khanzada, MPA Shahana Ashar, former Deputy Mayor Arshad Hasan including other dignitaries were also present.

Meanwhile, Governor and Gilgit-Baltistan Governor Syed Mehdi Shah discussed provincial coordination, promotion of tourism and other issues including development projects. Governor Sindh said that development projects are going on in province with cooperation of federation.

Mehdi Shah said that federation is taking interest in promoting tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan. He said that full facilities are being provided at tourist places. Later Governor inspected development work under Jail Chowrangi Bridge. Repair work of footpath is going on. Governor inquired about progress of work. He directed to beautify Chowrangi by planting trees.
