Governor Sindh discusses bilateral cooperation,with Qatari ambassador

Karachi: Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, met with the Ambassador of Qatar, Ali Mubarak Al Khater, at the Governor House. The meeting was marked by a Guard of Honour, and the Qatari
Ambassador also visited the Quaid-e-Azam Room and various sections of the Governor House.
During the meeting, Governor Tessori and Ambassador Al Khater exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, including bilateral cooperation and investment opportunities.
The Qatari Ambassador praised the Governor's initiatives, particularly the Governor's Initiative programme. Governor Tessori planted a tree in the lawn of the Governor House and hoisted the Qatari flag. He also recorded his impressions in the visitors' book.
The Governor stated that Qatar is keen to invest in Pakistan on a large scale. He assured that investors would be provided with guarantees and a conducive environment.
In a lighter moment, Governor Tessori jokingly said, "Their magic has failed, our magician (Mohsin Naqvi) has won." He also expressed his willingness to provide bail for children imprisoned in jails, saying, "They are our children."
The meeting was a significant step towards strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar.
