Gov Tessori’s attends Ethiopian National Day ceremony

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori participated in an event organised in connection with Ethiopian National Day. Ethiopian Ambassador Jamal Baker Abdullah welcomed Governor on held in Islamabad. Governor Tessori cut cake along with Ethiopian Ambassador to mark Ethiopian National Day.

Meanwhile, Kamran Tessori’s spokesman said that no final decision has been taken by Governor on punishment handed down by Ombudsman against Naseem Memon, only his suspension sentence until final decision. Execution has been stopped and case of Naseem Memon is being reviewed as per law and final decision will be taken only under relevant laws. Spokesperson said that according to law, Governor is appellate authority against decisions of Provincial Ombudsman. Naseem Memon has appealed against decision of Provincial Ombudsman to Governor under this law.

On other hand, Governor expressed regret over incident of self-immolation including children by person named Arif in North Karachi. Governor said that people who are fed up with situation should refer to Hope Bell which is active 24 hours, timely measures are taken to solve problems of people who come to Hope Bell, Sindh Governor added that inflation and other factors forcing common man to take such extreme measures.
