KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori and US Consul General Nicole Theriot exchanged views on investment potential in province. Projects in line with US Agency for International Development (USAID) were also highlighted during US consul general's meeting with Governor.

Tessori believed that for purpose of bilateral ties between Pakistan and United States, diplomacy was going to be crucial. Governor said, "Under auspices of USAID, masses are receiving better facilities in fields of health and education".

Tessori emphasised importance of US investment, saying, "With US investment, employment opportunities will be created and poverty will be reduced." He apprised US Consul General of IT programmes for paving way for youth to become self-sufficient.

Meanwhile, US CG said, "US investors are interested in investing in various sectors. Sindh Governor's IT training initiative and other welfare-related measures are exemplary".
