Gov Tessori, Saudi delegation discuss facilities for Hajj pilgrims

KARACHI: A delegation of Saudi Arabia making arrangements for Hajj pilgrims called on Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori at Governor House here. They discussed provision of better facilities to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims, investment in Sindh province and other issues of mutual interest.
Governor said that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were established at people to people level. He said that people of Pakistan gave extra-ordinary value to Saudi Arabia due to sacred places. Saudi delegation gave assurance to Governor that Pakistani Hajj pilgrims would be provided with better facilities.
Meanwhile, Tessori said that government’s full attention is focused on bringing stability to economy, current economic conditions of country require all of our attention, he emphasised people belonging to business community to play their role in bringing country out of economic crisis.
Attending dinner hosted by Honorary Consul General of Mozambique, Khalid Tawab in honor of UAE Consul General Bakhit Atiq Al Rumithi Governor said that Bakhit Atiqul Rumithi knows Urdu very well and that is reason why he is very popular in business circles.
He said that fraternal relations between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates span many decades. Bakhit Atiq Al Rumithi said that United Arab Emirates attaches great importance to its relations with Pakistan, adding that it is always ready to help Pakistan.
