Karachi: Special Assistant to Prime Minister, Minister Senator Dr. Hafiz Abdul Kareem along with delegation discussed overall political and economic situation of country, development plans of government in province and other mutual interest matters with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori.

Governor said that current situation of country requires unity and consensus, all kinds of differences should be put aside and work should be done only for betterment of country. He said that events of May 9 have been condemned by entire nation. Senator Dr. Hafiz said that entire nation stands with armed forces as guarantor of country's stability. Dr. Maulana Ali Muhammad Abu Tarab, Professor Sajjad Qamar, Maulana Yusuf Kasuri, Rahmatullah, A. Wahab, Qari Shoaib Pir Muhammad, Ibrahim Tariq, Anas Karim and Hafiz A. Karim were present.

Meanwhile, Governor signed charter of Safi Burhani University Karachi. Governor had requested establishment of university on last visit of spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat, Syedna Mufazal Saifuddin. After progress on this, Governor signed charter approving bill of this university.

Moreover Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Zia Langu discussed cooperation between Sindh and Balochistan in various fields, exchange of delegations and matters of mutual interest. Governor said that close cooperation between Sindh and Balochistan is in interest of both provinces.
