Gov Tessori, Qatar CG discuss bilateral ties

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori attended dinner at residence of Consul General of Qatar. Consul General of Qatar welcomed Governor. Consul Generals of other countries were also present. Governor said that Pakistan-Qatar bilateral brotherly relations are established on basis of religious tolerance, brotherhood and mutual respect, which are becoming more stable and stronger with passage of time. Kamran Tessori said that Pakistan values relations with Qatar as Qatar has fully supported Pakistan in all difficult times. Economic artery of Pakistan-Karachi is very attractive for investment, adding that Qatari investors can take full advantage of its attractive environment. Consul General of Qatar thanked Governor for attending dinner.

Meanwhile, Tessori attended Al-Ghazali University event at Jamita-ul-Rashid. Governor said that I always get peace of mind when meeting Mufti Abdul Rahim, his all-round personality is an example worthy of imitation for all of us. Mufti Abdul Rahim said that I am grateful to Governor. His services regarding charter of Al-Ghazali are unforgettable.

Moeover, An 18-member delegation of Pakistan Association of Press Photographers attended Iftar on special invitation of Governor. Governor said that cameramen and photographers convey information to people without caring about their lives, they stay behind camera and inform us of real facts. It has played an important role. Governor said that steps will be taken to solve problems of photojournalists.

Governor visited Gulshan-eMaymar where residents of area welcomed Governor and took pictures and selfies with him. Governor said, “I feel very happy to be among people.”
