‘Gov Tessori praises organisers of over 40s Cricket Global Cup23’

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori addressing opening ceremony of over 40s Cricket Global Cup 2023 held at Governor House praised the organisers for this initiative.

Legendary cricketer Javed Miandad was also present at Governor House who was warmly welcomed by Kamran Tessori. Governor said that in every good work everyone should contribute.

He said that at beginning of this event, I pray for success especially the security agencies for organising this event. Meanwhile, Governor Sindh also laid the foundation stone of Jefco Ground in North Nazimabad.

Governor said that construction of this ground in city of lights is commendable initiative, compared to construction of park. Healthy activities will be promoted for local people, such measures need to be taken on priority for beauty of city. He said that development and prosperity of Karachi is his desire.

He said that maintaining beauty of Karachi is the responsibility of all of us, let’s pledge that everyone will do their part in restoring splendor of city. Governor Tessori said that if there is problem of funds, I am ready to bear expenses of this park.

Moreover, Tessori also met with Karachi Central Jail Superintendent Hasan Sohto at Governor House. In meeting, Hassan Sohto invited Sindh Governor to participate in exhibition of paintings made by prisoners at Arts Council on September 23. Governor said that during his visit to Central Jail, he has seen skill of prisoners in field of painting.

He said that Hassan Sohto deserves congratulations for encouraging prisoners and providing them with facilities. Governor accepted invitation. On other hand, Governor Tessori and Minister for Law Umar Soomro in meeting here discussed public interest, delivery of justice to people’s doorsteps and other issues.
