Gov Tessori praises Alamgir Welfare Trust work in every sector

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that due to current economic situation in country life of poor person has become most difficult. He said, "I pay tribute to Universal Welfare Trust International for its spirit of service to humanity at a function organised by Welfare Trust. Administrator Karachi Dr. Saifur Rahman, Trust Chairman Chaudhry Nisar, Vice Chairman Haji Masood Parekh and others participated were present.
Governor said that Alamgir Trust's service to humanity for last 28 years is praiseworthy, because helping suffering humanity and helpless people is best duty. Kamran Tessori said that no authority is needed to serve people, I am present among people, listening to their problems and trying to solve them. "I am sure joint efforts of all of us will bear fruit soon". Later, Governor distributed dowry material and education scholarship cheques for marriage of poor girls.
Trust Chairman said that Welfare Trust was founded by Naseem Chandna in 1994. He informed that along with health and education facilities, monthly ration is also distributed to widows. They distribute food in hospitals. He said that technical education is provided in Alamgir Institute of Engineering and Technology, while Trust is providing free education to needy students and free tests are also being conducted in laboratory at subsidised rates.
Meanwhile, Governor expressed grief over death of comic artist Majid Jahangir and prayed for forgiveness of deceased, elevation of ranks and patience for family members. He said that Majid Jahangir, who brought Fifty Fifty to fame was a great actor. He said that Majid Jahangir was perfect in comic acting. Pair of Ismail Tara and Majid Jahangir was unparalleled.
