Gov Tessori pledges free bikes, phones for Karachiites

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori unveiled comprehensive initiative that promises to provide free motorbikes, mobile phones and health insurance to affected individuals. Governor Tessori disclosed that, in past year alone, over 1,700 cases of stolen vehicles were reported in Karachi, underscoring pressing need for measures to support victims of such crimes.
To avail of initiative, individuals are required to present their original Computerised National Identity Cards and First Information Reports at Governor House.
Furthermore, Tessori announced groundbreaking health insurance scheme, allowing citizens access to free medical treatment up to Rs 500,000 for themselves and their families. Emphasising inclusivity of programme, Governor stated that anyone meeting specified criteria can benefit from this healthcare initiative. Governor asserted his commitment to public service, stating that he has not sought any favour in exchange for assistance since assuming office.
He highlighted various ongoing initiatives, including provision of free ration and iftar for over 500,000 individuals at Governor House. In addition to these provisions, citizens of Karachi can soon expect to enhance their skill sets through free IT courses, with Governor Tessori revealing that preparations for this educational initiative are in their final phases.
Meanwhile, Governor had telephone conversation with Muslim League (N) leader Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and discussed overall political and economic situation of country, measures to solve economic problems and matters of mutual interest.
He said that current situation of country requires our attention, all stakeholders are requested to act on Pakistan first and he added that differences should be put aside for betterment of country. It is important to work for.
Moreover, Governor Tessori and PML (N) leader Rana Mashhood discussed overall political situation of country, economic problems faced by Pakistan and issues of mutual interest. Governor said that current situation of country requires unity and consensus.
In addition, Croatian Ambassador Dr Drago Stambuk and Tessori discussed bilateral relations, investment, increase in mutual trade and issues. Governor said that Pakistan-Croatia bilateral relations are getting stronger with passage of time.
There is wide scope for increasing mutual trade in various sectors, he will provide all possible support to Croatian investors. Dr Drago Stambuk said that all initiatives taken by Governor for public welfare are wonderful.
Kamran Tessori said that he will contact his circle of friends to fulfill wishes of every child suffering from an incurable disease, doors of Governor’s House will always be open for these noble purposes.
Governor addressing dinner organised in Governor’s House in honour of children suffering from infectious diseases said that mission of Make A Wish Foundation Pakistan is very unique, mission of Foundation is that no child suffering from an incurable disease should leave this world with dream.
