Gov Tessori meets Iranian counterpart from Baluchistan

KARACHI: Governor Kamran Khan Tesori of Sindh recently engaged in a strategic dialogue with Mohammad Karami, the Governor of Iran's Sistan and Baluchistan province. The meeting, aimed at fortifying bilateral ties, revolved around a multifaceted discussion encompassing economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and collaborative efforts to address regional challenges. Both leaders emphasized the pivotal role of enhanced relations in fostering mutual growth and prosperity.

Governor Tesori highlighted the potential for expanded economic cooperation between Pakistan and Iran, particularly between Sindh and Sistan. He expressed Sindh's enthusiasm in facilitating and welcoming investments from Sistan into various sectors, aiming to stimulate reciprocal economic development and foster shared prosperity. Additionally, Governor Tesori emphasized the importance of cultural exchanges, citing them as a means to strengthen people-to-people ties and promote a deeper understanding between the two regions.

Governor Karami acknowledged Governor Tesori's efforts in bolstering the bonds between Sindh and Sistan. He lauded Sindh's initiatives for the welfare of its citizens and recognized the region's potential for fostering robust economic and cultural connections with Sistan and Baluchistan province. Both leaders affirmed their commitment to furthering dialogue and collaboration, underscoring the significance of sustained engagement for the collective benefit of their respective regions and fostering enduring ties between Pakistan and Iran.
