Gov Tessori holds meetings with Chairman Senate, KSA, Moroccan envoys

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori and Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani discussed development projects of province, public welfare initiatives, importance of upper house in legislation and other issues. Governor said that initiatives of federation are important for development of Sindh province, in this regard, all stakeholders are being consulted for development and prosperity of province.
Chairman Senate said that upper house is playing its role in effective legislation for public welfare. He said that consultation with Governor will prove to be positive for development of province.
Meanwhile, Governor visited Peshawar Salt Mandi. Traders welcomed him. Governor said that purpose coming to Peshawar is to express solidarity on behalf of people of Sindh on tragic police lines incident.
Peshawar and Karachi have been victims of terrorism in recent times. He said that people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have made countless sacrifices in war against terrorists.
Moreover, Tessori in separate meetings with Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Saeed A. Al-Maliki and Moroccan Ambassador Mohammad Karmoune discussed bilateral ties, trade, promotion investment opportunities in province and other matters. Governor said that Saudi Arabia helped Pakistan in every difficult time. He said that Saudi investors should benefit from favourable investment environment in province.
Governor with Moroccan envoy discussed mutual trade, exchange of delegations, increase cooperation in education and health sectors, investment opportunities in Sindh and other issues.
Ambassador said Moroccan investors are interested in various sectors. He said that people of Pakistan have always supported Morocco.
