Gov Tessori gives job letters to KMC deceased employees’ heirs

KARACHI: Sindh Kamran Tessori along with Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rahman distributed job appointment letters to families of deceased employees under death quota in LKC.
Heirs of employees were given employment after gap of about five years. Last time employees were appointed under death quota in KMC in 2018. It is right of heirs of employees who served in KMC. Those who came here with complete documents have been given appointment letters.
Later talking to media, Governor said that after Eid I am going to America, I will bring latest laptop for IT programme. He said that people of Karachi who are most oppressed at this time are not getting rights nor are institutions of this city being given right. EDM funds are getting to Sialkot and other cities but Karachi is not getting its share of 54 percent. He said that I am talking about rights of all, including sweeper and city warden.
Meanwhile, Governor visited Buffer Zone. Residents of area welcomed him and took pictures and selfies with him. Governor said that he was happy to be among people of Buffer Zone. I am going to America after Eid. Our programme if to train 50 thousand youth in IT. Preparations are underway, he added.
He said that purpose of going to middle class communities is to get information about their issues.
People are concerned about water, electricity, gas and street crimes.
He said that public should register themselves in census if team did not come to you then approach your respective Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner or Census Office as it is very important for future planning for health, education and employment opportunities.
