Gov Tessori, DG Rangers Sindh discuss law, order situation

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori during his meeting with Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Azhar Waqas discussed law and order situation in province and other issues of mutual interest.

Governor said that Rangers is playing an important role in establishing peace and order in province by exterminating out all the criminal elements in routine operations in the metropolis and across the province.

    It must be mentioned here that Sindh Governor have also stated earlier that the menace of street crimes in Karachi would soon be ended thru coordinated efforts of all the law enforcement agencies by apprehending all the wrong-doers and miscreants who try to sabotage peace in Karachi.

  Moreover, addressing 20th meeting of Iqra University Kamran Tessori said that youth are biggest guarantors of Pakistan's development and prosperity. Youth are our asset who will be pride of nation by shining name of Pakistan all over world.

He said that no matter what situation is, you just don't get frustrated, you should face difficult situations with courage and courage.

He paid tribute to services of Hunaid Lakhani who gave to country an exemplary institution like Iqra University. Iqra University has been providing quality education for many years. Governor said that Allah made man to read first instructions in Quran, creator of universe said Iqra and then whole universe started this struggle and because of this Iqra man is conscious today. Kamran said that as Governor, most joy is to participate in certificate distribution meetings of universities, in such events, I get promise of bright and bright future of Pakistan. He said that every patriotic Pakistani is striving for future of this country, while dream of developed, stable and prosperous Pakistan is in front of me in form of you youth. President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tariq Yusuf and Professor Dr. Arifa Hassan also addressed event. Chairman Naveed Lakhani, Chancellor Iram Lakhani, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Waseem Qazi and members of Board of Governors of Iqra University were present.

Meanwhile, Consul General of Malaysia Herman Hardynata Bin Ahmad discussed socio-economic ties with Governor Tessori at Governor House. Bilateral relations, promotion of investment and trade and other issues were discussed. Governor said that Pakistan-Malaysia bilateral relations span many decades, Malaysia helped Pakistan in difficult times. He said that Pakistan has always attached special importance to relations with Malaysia. Consul General said that he is eager to see Pakistan stable and prosperous.

In addition he visited JDC relief camp established at Do Talwar for earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria. He appreciated spirit of humanitarian service and congratulated workers present at camp. He presented relief cheque of Rs two million to JDC on behalf of KMC.
