Gov Tessori, Deputy HC UK discuss bilateral ties

Karachi: British Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mooney meeting with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori discussed bilateral relations, exchanges of delegations in various sectors, investment opportunities in province and other issues.
Governor said that Britain has an important role in development of social sector of province. He said that there are favourable investment opportunities in Sindh and British investors can benefit from them. All possible facilities will be provided. Sarah Mooney said that Pakistanis are playing significant role in development of Britain. Later, Deputy High Commissioner and Kamran Tessori rang bell of hope. They inspected ration bags distributed under Powerful Pakistan programme.
Meanwhile, Governor condemned Varsak Road Peshawar bomb blast. He said that evil elements who are enemies of development and prosperity do not want peace and order in country. He said that officials of law enforcement agencies have protected this country by sacrificing their lives.
Moreover, Governor visited mausoleum of Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 75th death anniversary. He offered fateha and prayed for development and prosperity of country.
Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir and members of Caretaker Cabinet also visited Mazaar. Later, speaking to media, Governor said that we all need to work together for economic stability, unity, faith and discipline. There is great need to implement Quaid’s principle today. Everyone has to work with integrity for betterment of country.
Due to inspiring leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, dream of free homeland for Muslims of subcontinent came to fruition.
Moreover in meeting with Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab at Governor House, need for better relations between federal and provincial government and provision of better local facilities to citizens came under discussion.
Close communication matter between KMC and towns and cities was discussed. Governor said that for development of city, all stakeholders must be on same page.
