Gov Tessori awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz

Karachi: President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz to Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori at Aiwan-i-Saddar Islamabad during confrontment of Civil Awards to outstanding persons from various walks of life.
Governor Tessori was awarded Tamgh-e-Imtiaz for his public services towards poor and downtrodden. It is pertinent to mention here that Kamran Tessori is renowned businessman engaged in gems and Jewelry business. He got best exporter award on nine occasions and best businessman of year on three times. He was also given golden son of country award once. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated Governor Sindh for getting this award. He said that you deserve this award. Governor Sindh while thanking Almighty Allah for this honour pledged to work for this welfare of masses with even more zeal and zest.
Meanwhile, Governor visited mazar of father of Nation, laid floral wreath and offered fateha. He prayed Almighty Allah for progress and prosperity of country. Governor recorded his remarks in visitors Book kept there.
Later, talking with media Governor congratulated entire nation on occasion of Pakistan Day. Our elders rendered countless sacrifices for obtaining separate and independent homeland, he added.
Governor said that independence is blessing from Allah Almighty and we should always thank our creator for this unmatched blessing. People from all religious have freedom to perform their rituals and live their lives according to their faith, he observed.
