Gov Tessori attends Ethiopian New Year celebration

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori attended Ethiopian New Year celebration in Islamabad as special guest. Ambassador of Ethiopia Jamal Baker Abdullah received Governor. Promotion of mutual relations, increase in trade and exchange of delegations in various fields and matters of mutual interest were discussed in meeting.

According to reports reaching here Governor congratulating Ethiopian Ambassador and people on New Year said that increase in Pak-Ethiopia relations will bring stability to economy of both countries. With launch of Ethiopian Airlines, people of both countries has opportunity to come closer. Ambassador Jamal Baker Abdullah said that he attaches great importance to relations with Pakistan, adding that role of Sindh Governor in promoting mutual relations is commendable.

Meanwhile, Governor expressed sorrow over loss of life and property caused by earthquake in Morocco to Moroccan Ambassador Muhammad Carmoun. Governor prayed for speedy recovery of injured. He said that entire Pakistani nation is with Moroccan brothers in this hour of sorrow. Ambassador thanked Governor for his sentiments.

Moreover, Governor expressed his grief over death of sister-in-law of Chairman Public News Mian Muhammad Mushtaq and mother of Mian Khurram. He prayed to Allah Almighty to raise ranks of deceased and grant patience to family members.
