Gov Tessori appoints Arshad as brand ambassador for Karachi Marathon

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has appointed Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem as brand ambassador for upcoming Karachi Marathon.

During his visit to Mian Channu in District Khanewal, Governor Tessori met with national hero at his residence and congratulated him for making nation proud by representing Pakistan on global stage. He signed an MoU, officially appointing Arshad Nadeem as brand ambassador for Karachi Marathon. Kamran Tessori praised Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem’s remarkable achievement of winning gold medal and lauded his contribution to elevating Pakistan’s name internationally. He said, “I salute this hero who has come from small village and brought pride to nation.”  He announced completion of village masjid upon Arshad Nadeem’s request and highlighted that his journey is an inspiration for youth of Pakistan. Governor revealed that over 60 sports competitions will be organised in Karachi in January. Event marks a significant step in promoting sports across country. He expressed gratitude to people of Mian Channu for warm welcome and reiterated that Pakistan is filled with immense talent.

He stated, “Our nation is second to none in terms of talent. Pakistan is our country and together, we will bring progress to this country.”  He praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for her efforts in province’s development. In response to question, Governor remarked that foreign elements could be involved in destabilising region, but reassured that any attempts to hinder Pakistan’s progress would be met with strong response.
