Gov Tesoti emphasizes anti-corruption for a strong welfare

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori participated in a seminar organized by NAB at the Governor’s House on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day. IG Sindh Police Rafat Mukhtar, Chairman NAB, Deputy Chairman, Former Federal Minister Barrister Shahida Jameel, well-known religious scholars Maulana Bashir Farooqui, Faisal Edhi, Saram Birni, Behroz Sabzwari and others also participated in the seminar.
The Governor of Sindh while congratulating the DG NAB Karachi and his team for the excellent organization of the seminar said that we have to be committed for a corruption free society, corruption seriously affects the society and the economy of the country, he said that If we want a strong and welfare state, we have to root out corruption, he said, adding that NAB is working under a three-pronged strategy of awareness, prevention and enforcement. Governor Sindh said that the country moves forward from the nation and not from the individual.
Today we have gathered here against corruption on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, but I regret to say that even after 76 years of independence, we are still standing there. He said that each of us has to answer our responsibility, act above fear and do something for future generations. Kamran Khan Tesori said that the world has reached where, but we are still happy to get another two billion dollars loan, every province is rich in natural resources, he said that we are not preparing where everyone to go, we ourselves are to be one another’s messiahs.
