KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori inaugurated the City Property Expo 2023 to a significant gathering of property dealers and the public at the Expo Centre. During his address at the ceremony, Governor Sindh highlighted the potential economic stability that investment in the housing sector can bring. He pledged full support for the housing industry's development and emphasized that addressing citizens' housing needs requires cooperation between the public and private sectors.

Governor Sindh expressed optimism that prioritizing the construction of affordable housing units by the private sector would contribute to solving the housing problem for citizens, particularly in Commander City, where he anticipated top-notch housing facilities.

In conversations with the media, Governor Sindh reiterated the government's commitment to combat various mafias operating in the city, promising decisive action against those engaged in illegal activities. He also shared his belief that under the leadership of Army Chief General Asim Munir, the economy would witness further stability. He forecasted a decrease in the value of the dollar and an increase of $4 to $5 billion in exports by December this year, further noting that investments totaling up to $25 billion from Gulf countries were imminent.

Addressing concerns about street crimes, Governor Sindh disclosed that he had directed the Additional Inspector General to implement improvements in controlling these crimes within 15 days.
