Gov Sindh inaugurates 3-day flower show at DMC East

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori along with Administrator Karachi Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman, Administrator East Syed Shakeel Ahmed and Municipal Commissioner Faheem Khan inaugurated three-day flower exhibition held at Bagh-e-Rizwan. Addressing ceremony he said that deprivation of city should be removed. City has to be developed as much as flowers are blooming. We will move towards good and will stand with it who does well. We have to play our role for betterment of city, as we decorate our house, we have to decorate city in same way. A dinner will be given at Governor’s House in honour of financers who organised exhibition. Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman said that it is important to inform everyone about importance of plantation. He congratulated efforts of Shakeel Ahmed and his team.

Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that it is fact that after arrival of public Governor, every kind of environment has changed and things are going towards improvement. Exhibition of flowers is not only traditional but has been arranged in such way to provide information about plants and environment to people, for which services of professional botanists and teachers of Karachi University have been taken.

Faheem Khan, Professor Bina Abid and others discussed benefits of plants and solutions to get rid of bad effects of environment and other issues.

Focal Person Imtiaz Bhutto, Superintending Engineer, Mubeen Sheikh, Salman Memon, Directors of Parks Department Abdul Ghani Sheikh, Toqeer Abbas, Zafar Iqbal, Shabahat Hussain, Directors Elahi Bakhsh, Jam Rizwan, Khurshid Ali, Talat Shakeel, Iftikhar Naich, Irshad Ali and number of students from various universities and schools were present.

Meanwhile, Tessori said that people are worried about employment due to bad economic situation. Our youth are worried about finding employment after getting their degrees.

Addressing ICMAP Job Fair 2023 function he said that through this job fair, dream of getting employment of youth is being realised.

Moreover Tessori visited shrine of Hazrat Dulha Shah Sabzwari. Convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was also with him. They prayed for development and prosperity of country.
