Gov approves Sindh Medico Legal Bill 2023

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori approved Sindh Medico-Legal Bill 2023. In Bill, legislation related to medical examination and post-mortem and other regulations of medical system has been enacted. According to amendment, Sindh Medico-Legal Advisory Board will be established. Chairperson will be Secretary Health.

Board members include DG Sindh Forensic Science Laboratory, Additional IG Sindh Police (Investigation), Additional IG Sindh Police (Operation), Prosecutor General Sindh or their representative (up to BPS 19), two medical experts from Health Department and Chief Police Surgeon will be involved.
