LAHORE: Former Prime Minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif said good time was just around corner as Nawaz Sharif would land in Pakistan on October 21 this month.

Addressing press conference at PML-N Secretariat Model Town, he said they saved Pakistan from default.

“We saved this state at cost of our politics,” he said. PML-N served this country in shortest time and within limited resources.

PML-N head was of view that PTI had planned to damage state for personal gains. “There was mutiny against Pakistan and its armed forces on May 9,” he said.

Talking about his 16-month rule as PM, he said coalition government had lot of challenges including fragile economy and devastating floods. He added that PML-N government’s hands were tied while dealing with IMF but still they managed to negotiate agreement.

“We used to give Ramadhan Package when Nawaz Sharif was Prime Minister and PML-N led coalition government did same this year too to help needy,” he said. He added that youth package of billions of rupees was also given in budget. “There is no need to be worried as good time is just around corner,” Sharif iterated.
