Karachi: Gold prices in country increased by Rs 2,900 per tola. According to rates shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), price of 24-carat gold settled at Rs 235,500 per tola in local market. Price of 10 gram gold also rose by Rs 2,486 to Rs 201,903 per tola.

On Thursday, gold prices in Pakistan had held steady despite record rupee fall against dollar. In international market, price of precious metal increased by $ 4 to $ 1,919 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver rates also rose by Rs 50 per tola to Rs 2,850 per tola.
