Gold price per tola increases Rs500

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan saw an uptick on Monday, following a rise in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs500, reaching Rs282,900.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold for Rs242,541, marking a gain of Rs429, as per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This increase came after a slight decline in gold prices during the previous session. On Saturday, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs200, settling at Rs282,400. Internationally, the price of gold also rose on Monday, with the rate hitting $2,708 per ounce, including a premium of $20, reflecting a daily increase of $5. In contrast, silver prices in Pakistan saw a decline, with the price per tola dropping by Rs9, reaching Rs3,372. This shift in the precious metals market highlights the ongoing fluctuations in both local and international pricing trends.
