Gold price per tola decreases Rs900

Karachi: Gold price  declined in line with decrease in international rate. In local market, price of gold per tola was down by Rs 900, clocking in at Rs 283,400 per tola. Similarly, ten gram gold was sold at Rs 242,970 after it recorded decrease of Rs 771 per ten gram, according to rates shared by All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Meanwhile, international rate of gold decreased on Monday. As per APGJSA, rate was $ 2,739 per ounce (with premium of $20) and was down by $ 9 an ounce during day. Silver prices remained stable at Rs 3,350 per tola. Bullion is considered hedge against economic and geopolitical uncertainties.
