Karachi: Gold price decreased in line with decline in international rate. In local market, gold price per tola hit Rs 242,300 after single-day fall of Rs 1,200 per tola.

Ten gram gold was sold at Rs 207,733 after decrease of Rs 943 per ten gram, according to rates shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). As per APGJSA, international rate was set at $ 2,349 per ounce (with premium of $20) after decrease of $ 10 an ounce during day. Meanwhile, silver rates stood stable at Rs 2,650 per tola.
