Gold medalists Hamza, Mehrun Nisa attribute their accomplishment to national spirit

KARACHI: Gold Medal winners Hamza Saeed and Mehrun Nisa have attributed their accomplishment in Mount Everest Open Taekwondo Event to their respective coaches’ hard work and players dedication and playing with national spirit.

Talking exclusively to National Courier,  Khyurogi Event gold medal winner Hamza Omar Saeed said that winning the medal for the country is a great honour for him, adding we played with national spirit and were focused on nothing less than grabbing medals for the country.

After arrival from Nepal, he said that fight with Indian players was very tough, adding that their accomplishment in the championship will assist them in the Combaxx Asian C’ship to be played later this year. Poomsae Event gold medal winner Mehrun Nisa said that it was a great experience to participate in the Championship.

PTF Executive Member Zubair Macha attributed the team’s excellence show to the dedicated patronship of PTF’s President Col (retd) Waseem Ahmed Janjua and CEO Omar Saeed and the hard work of the players. “Winning as many as fifteen medals in international events is remarkable achievement, Zubair said.
