LAHORE: Four girl students allegedly torturing their class fellow at private school in Defence Housing Authority as well as victim were suspended by school.

Last week, four suspects were booked for allegedly manhandling their class fellow at Lahore school. They were later granted pre-arrest bail against surety bonds worth Rs 50,000 each. Court also barred police from arresting them till January 30. School administration said that girls have been suspended till investigation of case is completed. Administration formed three-member inquiry committee to investigate incident. Investigation committee has been directed to complete inquiry within 10 days and submit report. “Action will be taken against those responsible in light of investigation carried out by committee,” said administration.

Lahore District Commissioner Muhammad Ali will decide on either fining or suspending registration of school linked with case of bullying and manhandling of student by other girls, which surfaced last week.

As per report, incident took place outside cafeteria of school in which four female students “Tortured their class fellow”.
