Since becoming new CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk has laid off several top executives, followed by an exodus of top management. Musk has initiated a massive downsising of  company’s global workforce, and in retaliation, celebrities have been quitting popular platform, which they now feel is ‘exploiting’ them.  

Earlier, Bridgerton producer Shonda Rhimes, singers Sara Bareilles and Toni Braxton bid adieu to micro-blogging app. Now, supermodel Gigi Hadid has announced deactivating her Twitter handle because of its ‘new leadership’.–Agencies
