Giant Marlin fish caught off Karachi Coast

Karachi: Senior angler and Pakistan Boat Rally member Khalid caught giant 190-kg Marlin fish near Continental Shelf off Karachi Coast and set new record. Ahmed Mamoor Amimi President of Pakistan Boat Rally and Fishing Association congratulated Khalid-senior angler and Pakistan Boat Rally member who was lucky to catch 190 kg Marlin fish which in local people called Khadda.

This is same point where our region tech tonic plates meet. It took him 4 hours playing and eventually land that huge giant on his boat. Keep noted that this is Pakistani top record of angling fish as of today.

Other team members Abdullah and Afzal also spotted two whales near Karamat which is around 80 KM outside Karachi in deep sea.

‘Pakistan is blessed with not just beautiful land but also at sea. Last year Pakistan Boat Rally spotted around 1,000 dolphins swimming along with boats,’ Pakistan Boat Rally and Fishing Association said in statement.

‘These activity can be converted to sustainable sea tourism and can bring livelihood to people of Pakistan if channelised properly,’ it added.
