Youth is time of life when one is young or we can say that it is phase of life between childhood and adulthood. When we talk about youths, virtual image irritated our mind that is future of country. There are three phase of life childhood, young age and old age.

These ages reflect time as past, present and future. Youth is like a present moment of life. United Nation defines youth as persons between ages of 14 to 21. Youth is a worthwhile phase of one’s life. Age where age group is no longer of a child but yet to turn out to be a grown-up is youth age. It is a golden phase to achieve dual goals of intelligence and character. It is a critical age of growth, a period of uncertainty when everything is in uproar. Youth is neither a child nor an adult, personality possesses a combination of both stages. He can be self-seeking at some times or turn out to be self-sacrificing very next day. He may also turn out to be disobedient one day. Youth is hope of tomorrow. This is because people belonging to young generation are full of life.

They are inquisitive to learn new things and ready to explore world. They are extraordinary on energy and do not want to conform to customs and traditions set by earlier generations. Human development has evolved over centuries. Each generation comes up with its set of ideas and opinions and contributes towards development of society. However, while human mind and intellect has developed over time people have also grown quite impatient. Youth today is keen on learning and exploring new things. Now, while they may seek word of advice from their elders they do not want to be guided by them at every step. Youth develops a repellant personality and thus we can see conflicts in thoughts between families. It is also a major cause of worsening of family relations.

Youth, being argumentative in nature, develop an attitude of apt rationale and judgment. Modern youth does not conform to rules set by his elders. He wants his parents and guardians by his side but doesn’t want their guidance at every step. It is a well-known fact that youth of any country is a countless asset. They are indeed future of country and represent it at every level. Role of youths in nation-building is more vital than you might think.

In other words, the intelligence and work of youth will take country on pathway of achievement. If mindset of youth in country is correct and these potential talents are driven they will certainly do well for society. With appropriate knowledge and right tactic, they can excel in various fields including technology, science, medicine, sports and more. Today they might be our partners, tomorrow they will go on to become leaders. Youths are very energetic and enthusiastic. They have ability to learn and adapt to background. Similarly, they are willing to learn and act on it as well to achieve their goals. We see how development of any country entails active participation from youth. It does not matter which field we want to progress in, whether it is technical field or sports field, youth is wanted. It is up to us how to help youth in playing this role properly.

Youth these days have become so engrossed in their mobile phones and social media that they have forgotten that there is a life outside of it too. Youth of today is self-obsessed and wants to show off anything and everything he does by way of social media. Instead of enjoying moment. There are many ways in which we can help youth of our country to attain their latent. For that, government must introduce programmes that will help in fighting off issues like unemployment, poor education institutes and more to help them flourish without any hindrance. Furthermore, equivalent opportunities must be provided for all regardless of caste, creed, gender, race, religion and more. There are numerous issues of nepotism and favouritism that is eating away actual talent of country. Government must take steps to avoid and totally end these issues as soon as possible. It is responsibility of government to ensure that every youth has chance to prove themselves worthy and that must be offered equally to all. In a nut shell, our youth has power to build a nation so we must give them opportunity. They are future and they have perspective which older generations lack. Their zeal and enthusiasm must be channelised properly to help a nation prosper and flourish.
