‘FPS honours national hero’

Karachi: Pakistan’s National Hero and Javelin Medalist Arshad Nadeem said that his ultimate aim is to win gold at the upcoming Asian Games in China and the Paris Olympics next year. The whole nation's support and prayers boost my morale to give my very best in the competition.
Beaming with confidence, he expressed these views at a special ceremony held in his honour by the Foundation Public School, to celebrate the tremendous achievements of Arshad Nadeem, at the FPS Olevel Defence Campus.
He thanked the entire management of Foundation Public School for honouring him and further said that sports need to be promoted from the school level and FPS is working very hard for the development of extracurricular activities along with academics. Meanwhile, visiting the campuses of Foundation Public School and Headstart School System, Arshad met the students from both institutions who were thrilled to greet him, take selfies and autographs from him and get inspired by his journey to become the nation’s star. Students from different grade levels were privileged to see Arshad and learn the power of steadfast determination.
At the ceremony, the management of Foundation Public School gave 2 Million Rupees to Arshad Nadeem, as an encouragement to the star for his services to Pakistan in sports. On this occasion, the Managing Director, of Foundation Public School, Raza Kamal Minhas said that Arshad is an inspiration for our youth athletes who want to raise our nation’s flag at the international level. We all support him for his upcoming competitions and hope that he will bag laurels for Pakistan. At this moment, Founder Principal FPS, Yasmeen Raza Minhas added that we all admire the aspiring journey of Arshad Nadeem and wish our extraordinary athlete more success in future.
Executive Director FPS Rehman Minhas, Senior Sports Manager FPS Murad Hussain, Director Sports HEC Javed Memon, Chairman Karachi Sports Foundation Asif Azeem and President Syed Waseem Hashmi were also present at the ceremony.
