NABLUS: Israeli forces killed four people in occupied West Bank, Palestinian health ministry said including two teens and a man Israel said was a senior militant commander.

Latest violence comes two days after a truce halted deadly conflict between Israeli military and Islamic Jihad militants in coastal Palestinian enclave of Gaza and as Israeli forces continue months of at times deadly raids in West Bank. “Terrorist Ibrahim al-Nabulsi was killed in city of Nablus,” Israeli Army said in a statement, adding that “another terrorist who was staying in house” also died.

A 16-year-old was also killed in Nablus and Palestinian health ministry later said a 17-year-old had been shot dead in flashpoint southern city of Hebron.

Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medics treated 69 people for gunshot wounds across Nablus area, at least four of them in critical condition. Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid hailed raid as a “highly successful, precise action without casualties” among security forces.
