Former PTI, PML-N lawmakers from South Punjab join PPP

Lahore: Former lawmakers from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz from South Punjab have joined Pakistan Peoples' Party after meeting with party's co-Chairman, former President Asif Ali Zardari.
Announcement was made after meeting between Zardari and party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to discuss their inclusion in PPP.
In statement released by PPP's media cell, former provincial minister from Muzaffargarh Syed Haroon and former Member of National Assembly Chaudhry Asghar Jatt joined PPP. Syed Jameel Shah, former Member of Provincial Assembly from Khanewal also announced his decision to join PPP. Moreover, former Pakistan Muslim League-Q candidate Malik Faiz Ahmed, former PTI candidate for Bahawalnagar Rana Intezar Ahmed, Pakistan Kisan Ittehad's central vice-president Aamer Wattoo and others also joined PPP.
Zardari and Bilawal welcomed new members during meeting, which was attended by Yusuf Raza Gilani, Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood and others.
Inclusion of new members in PPP was announced at Zardari House where General Secretary of PPP district Muzaffargarh, Malik Mazhar Pehor, Malik Faiz Ahmed Khokhar Advocate and Abdul Qadir Shaheen were present.
