KARACHI: A recent forensic report has introduced a new dimension to the investigation of the Mustafa Amir murder case, revealing that no intoxicants or sedatives were present in his system before his death.

The findings, based on a detailed examination conducted after the exhumation of his body, have added fresh complexity to the ongoing inquiry, National Courier reported. The report, compiled by the Industrial Analytical Center at Karachi University, was developed using cutting-edge forensic techniques such as gas chromatography and mass spectrometry to ensure precision.

A total of 11 samples, including those from the tongue, palate, and neck, were meticulously analyzed. The credibility of the findings was further reinforced by the signatures of the principal investigator, assistant investigator, technical manager, and two research officers. To preserve evidence integrity, a portion of the analyzed samples will be stored under controlled laboratory conditions, while the remaining specimens will be disposed of after 30 days.

This latest forensic revelation has intensified efforts to piece together the circumstances surrounding Mustafa Amir’s tragic demise. Meanwhile, authorities continue to scrutinize the case’s prime suspect, Armaghan, uncovering significant details related to his business activities, digital currency accounts, and financial transactions. Investigators have also seized and are currently analyzing key pieces of evidence from his residence, including laptops and other electronic materials. Additionally, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has traced four companies linked to Armaghan-two registered in Pakistan and two based in the United States.

These findings mark a substantial development in the case, as law enforcement agencies remain committed to uncovering the full truth and ensuring justice. The investigation remains ongoing, with further updates expected as authorities continue to follow critical leads in this high-profile case.
