Foreigners succeed in making ID card thru NADRA’s involvement: Minister Kanju

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Interior Abdul Rehman Kanju said in past few foreigners succeeded to make National Identity Card with involvement of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). Senator Bahramand Khan raised question how many Afghanis made Pakistani Id Card in last three year and government give reason of this happening and why was not that stopped. During question hour in Senate State Minister replied that NADRA cancelled 18 I.D cards. 8,152 people identity process is under affirmation steps. 43 employees were removed from job, Minister continued, there is no suggestion under consideration to award citizenship to Afghanis.

We cannot told anything with surety about Afghan citizens in Karach. He said that from 2013 to 2018 one million ID card were blocked. Nadra is making national identity card system foolproof. Earlier Senator Kamran Murtaza raised question that Balochistan government do not have money to release salaries, we know Balochistan situation and some amount is due to federal government. Educational institutes are about to close in Balochistan. We know what situation is in Balochistan. Chairman Senate told that Finance Minister has released some amount for Balochistan and he will also talk with Chairman HEC in this regard. Parliamentary Affair Minister Murtaza Javed Abbasi said after 2002, drug diffusion was stopped pretty much. World has appreciated Pakistan for stopping drugs diffusion.
