Five new projects will soon be inaugurated in Karachi: Murtaza Wahab

KARACHI: Spokesperson of Sindh government and Advisor to CM Sindh on Law, Murtaza Wahab visited different areas of Malir and Korangi district. He reviewed ongoing development schemes under Karachi Neighbourhood Improvement Project.
He informed Malir and Korangi district residents that five projects would be inaugurated on March 15, including roads and parks. Members of Sindh Assembly Abdul Hakeem Baloch, Salim Baloch and Yusuf Murtaza Baloch were also present. Director of project Nazir Memon briefed Murtaza Wahab about ongoing development works and told that various development works are underway in Malir and Korangi district under Neighbourhood Improvement Project. Restoration work on Kala Board, rain-drain and water lines from Saudabad Chowrangi to Kala Board have been completed.
Advisor was informed that under project, restoration work of Saudabad Chowrangi to Jinnah Square Chowrangi-two-way road is also in progress while work of rain drains and water lines has been completed, restoration work of Liaquat Market Road is also in progress and on site work of drain has been completed.
He was informed that road maintenance work is in progress from Somar Kandiani extension to Murad Memon Chowk and ninety percent work on rain drain has been completed. Murtaza Wahab said that government decided to improve public places in Malir district. Under the Project, 6 new parks, 3 playgrounds and 15 roads were decided to be rehabilitated, which are now being done on fast pace. In first phase, we will inaugurate parks from March 15. He said that apart from parks, rainwater drains and water lines have been constructed before construction of roads. Journey of public service will continue under leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto. Abdul Hakeem Baloch, Salim Baloch and Yusuf Murtaza Baloch expressed their gratitude to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Murtaza Wahab. They said that long-standing problems of people of Malir and Korangi would be solved with completion of these projects.
