JHELUM: At least five people were killed and several others received critical injuries when three-storey building collapsed suddenly due to powerful LPG cylinder blast in here.

According to details, cylinder exploded in kitchen of three-storey hotel on GT Road, resulting in collapse of building. As result, five people lost their lives and as many as 12 people were injured in tragic incident. Soon after incident, rescue teams, police and other personnel of law enforcement agencies arrived at site and cordoned off area. An emergency has been declared in District Headquarters Hospital Jhelum. In another incident, six people were injured in cylinder blast at local factory in Gujranwala, police and rescue department said.
