First Commissioner Karachi Table Tennis Tournament: boys event enters final stage

KARACHI: The four quarter-finals and both semi-final matches of the first Commissioner Karachi Cup Table Tennis Tournament have been decided.  In the first semi-final played at the Commissioner Club MA Jinnah Road, Ahsan Raza defeated Muhammad Abbas 3-1; in the second semi-final Arham defeated Ryan 3-0. The previous four quarter-finals were also decisive.

In the quarter finals, Ryan defeated Shozeb 3-0, in the second quarter final, Arham defeated Salman Raza 3-1, in the third quarter final, Muhammad Abbas defeated Usman Khan 3-1 and in the last quarter final, Rehan defeated Farooq Khan 3-0.

In these matches Sohail Tahsin performed the duties of the referee. At the beginning of the matches, the players were introduced to ADC South Samiullah Pathan, on this occasion, Sports Coordinator of Commissioner Karachi Ghulam Muhammad Khan District Sports Officer Farid Ali, Organizer Haq Nawaz and others were present. The semifinals and finals of the girls event are scheduled for today.
