Firing in coaching centre: Police fails to arrest suspect

KARACHI: Sindh police failed to arrest any suspect involved in shooting incident in coaching centre near Gulshan-e-Iqbal, resulting in killing of ninth-grade student Ahsan Ali.

Sharing important development of murder case, Senior Superintendent of Police East Abdul Rahim Shirazi said that police identified person named Talha who had supplied weapon to suspects.

SSP East said that suspects Luqman and Talha reached coaching centre and asked for Ahsan Ali. Teacher pointed out at victim and accused shot at Ahsan and fled from scene.

However, he said, reason behind shooting was not confirmed yet. Meanwhile, Abdul Rahim Sherazi assured that prime accused will be arrested at earliest. Police teams are still conducting raids to arrest suspects.

A day earlier, firing incident took place inside coaching centre leaving one student seriously wounded student succumbed to his wounds after being shifted to Civil Hospital in critical condition.

Apart from this, SSP said that there has been significant progress in murder case of woman two days ago. On January 5, woman Sana was shot dead during mugging incident.
