FinMin Aurangzeb summons ECC meeting

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has summoned session of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) today.

According to sources, ECC meeting will be held with FinMin Aurangzeb in chair. Key ECC session will approve technical supplementary grants for different ministries.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reconstituted Cabinet’s Economic Coordination Committee.

According to official notification, Economic Coordination Committee has been reconstituted and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb was appointed as its chairman.

Notification stated that Finance Minister will head panel with four other ministers including Economic Affairs, Commerce, Power, Petroleum and Planning, development and special initiatives, notified as its members.
