Federal Ombudsman chairs 'open court' in District Central

KARACHI: An open court was held at the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Central Karachi, under the chairmanship of Federal Ombudsman Syed Anwar Haider.
Deputy Commissioner Central Taha Saleem, Additional Deputy Commissioners Asim Siddiqui and Dr. Saira Khan, SSP Central Zeshan Siddiqui, Senior Advisor Seema Shakil, and directors and deputy directors of various departments attended the event.
A large number of citizens from District Central participated in the open court, including a significant number of women. Representatives from various markets also presented their issues to the Federal Ombudsman and Deputy Commissioner, which were resolved on the spot.
Federal Ombudsman Syed Anwar Haider directed all departments to prioritize citizens' issues and ensure that they receive convenient services at their doorstep.
The citizens appreciated Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem's efforts, particularly the recent crackdown on illegal water connections.
Deputy Commissioner Taha Saleem assured that the district's doors are open to everyone, and citizens can contact him directly to report their issues and seek prompt solutions.
The open court addressed various citizen concerns, including water, NADRA, SBCA portions, encroachment, K-Electric, and other issues, with immediate instructions issued for their resolution.
