Fazl meets Hamas leaders in Qatar

DOHA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met Hamas leaders Khalid Mashaal and Ismail Haniya in Qatar.

According to post on X, JUI-F Chief arrived in Qatar yesterday along with delegation. Fazlur Rehman and Hamas leaders discussed Gaza situation in detail.

JUI-F Chief said Israel was attempting to change status quo in Palestine through oppression and injustice. “Advocates of developed countries have blood-stained hands of innocent children and women.”

 Hamas political head Haniya termed it duty of Muslim Ummah to unite against Israeli injustices. “Countries advocating for human rights are sailing ships filled with weapons to Tel Aviv,” he said.

Mashaal said Kashmir and Palestine have been litmus test for advocates of human rights. In meeting, JUI leaders Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro and Mufti Abrar Ahmed were also present.

Fazlur Rehman reached Qatar to meet key Hamas leaders amid Israeli invasion of Gaza. According to reports, JUI-F Chief left for Qatar last night on four-day visit.

He would also talk to Arab leaders regarding humanitarian assistance for people of Palestine who are facing barbarism of Israeli forces.
