PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government had destroyed country’s economy.  Addressing press conference, Rehman said there was dire need to launch campaign to make country fully Islamic state.

Admitting that country was facing severe economic crisis, he said incumbent government had presented “Balanced” budget for financial year 2023-24. He took swipe at PTI Chief, saying: “Kashmir is under assault due to nexus of PTI Chief and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I requested government to take strict action against PTI Chief”.

Speaking about May 9 mayhem, he said that party’s central executive committee had condemned 9/5 attacks. He vowed that his party would continue to support government in providing relief to people. As for elections, he said, “Basically, JUI-F will contest elections with its own candidates across country.

However, there will be margin for seat adjustments”.  Speaking against culture of “Foul language” in politics, he said, “Foul language in politics has affected minds of youth. There should be proper period in our educational institutions to teach morals to children”.
