Fawad says SC decision final, elections must be held within 90 days

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that under Constitution, decision of Supreme Court is final and elections must be held within 90 days.
Talking to media here, he said that judicial system in Pakistan is being ridiculed. Courts give orders but they are flouted, he added. According to Constitution, decision of Supreme Court is final and no government can refuse to obey order, Fawad added. PTI leader said that PTI was fighting to uphold supremacy of judiciary. “Today lawyers are appearing in courts as usual, whole country is standing by Supreme Court.” He said PML-N has history of attacks on judiciary.
Fawad said that incumbent government was running away from election. Prime Minister has to invite PTI for talks and party would constitute negotiating team, he continued.
PTI leader said that house of lawyer Azhar Siddique was attacked at night. Molotov was thrown at his house in an attempt to frighten him. Hammad Azhar said that PDM government was shaking in boots. Police tortured Zile Shah to death. When police officials talk with us privately, they say they are “Under pressure”. He said that an attempt was made to scare Azhar Siddique by throwing Molotov at his house.
