Fawad Ch sent jail for 14 days physical remand

ISLAMABAD: Local court of Islamabad has sent former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry to  jail on 14 days judicial remand in fraud case. Fawad Chuadhry was presented in the court of judicial magistrate Yasir Mehmood  on expiry of one day physical remand.

On the request of counsel for Fawad Chaudhry, the court ordered to open the handcuff of one hand of former federal minister. Defence counsel Qamar Inayat Raja requested the court to allow meeting  of his client with Faisal Chaudhry,

During the hearing of the case Fawad Chaudhry came on rostrum and told the court the plaintiff has not come to fore so far. If recovery has to be made then take Rs 5000 or 7000. I don't posses arms while policemen are gunmen. The court ordered to send Fawad Chaudhry to jail on judicial remand on completion of arguments,

In his informal chat with the journalists in courtroom Fawad Chaudhry said if Nawaz Sharif wins in the election like this then who will accept it.  If he becomes prime minister this way then he will be prime minister of what sort. He held dialogue among political parties is needed. Nawaz Sharif should play his role in lowering political temperature.  However Ayub Khan tenure was good in the perspective of economic development. awad  Chaudhry was arrested from his residence Islamabad on November 4.
