Karachi:  Animal welfare group meeting presided over by Faryal Talpur focused on various initiatives and strategies to improve conditions and treatment of animals. Talpur, known for her advocacy in animal rights, highlighted importance of community involvement, legislative support and educational programmes to raise awareness about animal welfare.

  Meeting addressed key issues such as stray animal management, promotion of adoption over purchasing pets and need for stricter penalties for animal cruelty.  Participants discussed ways to collaborate with local authorities, veterinarians and shelters to ensure comprehensive approach to animal welfare. Meeting concluded with call to action for more volunteers and donations to support ongoing projects and establishment of new ones aimed at protecting and caring for animals in need.
