Faisal Vawda reinstated as Senator, PPP’s Nisar Khuhro out

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda has been reinstated as Senator following Supreme Court (SC) verdict in disqualification case.

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) withdrew its notification regarding vacated seat of Faisal Vawda after his disqualification as Senator on Sindh seat.

Notification of Vawda’s election as Senator was restored by Election Commission. Former PTI leader had been notified as Senator on Sindh seat on March 10, 2021.
